Laura Olson is one of the owners of Palomé and is the Executive Director.  Laura has a
Master of Science in Psychology and a Master of Education in Curriculum and    Learning.  Laura has an extensive background and training in working with children, adolescents and adults experiencing trauma. Laura is a nationally recognized trainer/consultant for the Nurturing Parenting Programs and provides facilitator trainings several times per year.  She also provides consultation and training for the Colorado Office of Early Childhood in Nurturing Parenting.  Laura provides training in The Great Behavior  Breakdown, Bringing the Protective Factors to Life in Your Work, In Home Services and Peer Specialist Training.  Laura is a TBRI
® Practicitioner and provides TBRI® Caregiver  Training.  Laura also works with families in facilitating the Nurturing Parenting Programs.

Kelly is one of the owners of
Palomé and is our Clinical Director.  Kelly specializes in working with trauma and is certified in EMDR.  She provides domestic violence survivor treatment and empowers individuals in their journey forward.  Kelly also works with military soldiers and their families in dealing with the multitude of unique challenges that military families face.  She works closely with Fort Carson Family Advocacy Program in supporting military families during their service.  She is an advocate for the soldier and veteran and recognizes the significance of trauma within the military experience.

Laura has a Masters of Social Work from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. She completed her internship with Palomé and now works as a therapist at Palomé.  Laura is specializing in mental health and trauma.  Her ultimate passion is to ensure a better world for children through working with them and their caregivers.  Laura enjoys providing therapeutic services to adolescents and adults as well as working with our TIPS program.  Outside the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, watching hockey and playing with her two dogs.

Sara has a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Indiana University and Masters of Social Work from Springfield College.  She is a mother of two and a grandmother of 9! She currently provides life skills education, supervised visitations, in home services, removal prevention, mobile crisis and outreach, prevention and intervention services. Sara has extensive experience in child welfare and providing family support services in many different settings.  She has taught 2nd grade and preschool, including working in the Head Start program.  Sara enjoys knitting, gardening and baking.  She even has a     worm farm!

Jennifer is a Clinical Social Work Candidate who provides therapeutic services at Palomé.  She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Florida State University and earned a Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in Mental Health and Trauma from the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado. While at DU, she also completed a specialized human-animal-environment interactions  (HAEI) in social work program. 


Jennifer works with adolescent and adult clients using the principles of Internal Family Systems. She has experience working with individuals in the following areas: depression, anxiety, anger management, family conflict, relationship issues, stress, self-esteem, and trauma. Jennifer has also taught the Nurturing Parenting Program to both groups and individuals.

Heidi has worked in the healthcare field for 22 years.  Her primary focus for the last 8 years has been working with youth and families in the juvenile justice system and in the mental health and substance abuse field.  Heidi Lynch has a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Northern Kentucky University and an Associate of Arts from University of Cincinnati.  She is an ACE's Trainer and Peer Recovery Coach.  She is an ACE Trainer, Peer Specialist trained and has worked in human services for the past 7 years.

Abbey is our Mobile Response Supervisor and manages our Mobile Response SOS Program at Palomé.  Abbey has a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Forensic Science from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Abbey has a history working with youth in  probation, child welfare and residential programs.  She was born in Des Moines, Iowa but has been in Colorado since 1986 and calls Colorado home! Abey enjoys activities of all kinds but focuses on doing them with her own children and family regularly.  Abbey works with youth and families in a variety of settings, providing a variety of services at Palomé.

Erin is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate and is excited to be a therapist at Palomé after completing her practicum and clinical internship with Palomé.  She holds a Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University, a Master of Science degree in Environmental Policy from the University of Denver and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University.  Erin enjoys providing therapeutic services to children and adults and is especially interested in somatic experiencing and parts work. She is also trained and experienced in providing EMDR therapy.

Over the years, she has served on a multitude of state and local councils with a focus on improving behavioral health and addiction recovery access.
